The game “Summer Pockets”, brought to you by the famous VISUAL ARTS・Key who are known for their works such as “CLANNAD”, “Little Busters!”, and “Angel Beats!”, will receive its TV anime adaptation, set to air from April of 2025. Alongside the news, a credit-less opening animation video has been released, and information for a talk event to be held at Comic Market 105 has come out too.

A spin off comic of “Summer Pockets” will be serialized in KADOKAWA’s visual magazine “Dengeki Moe Ou” and the web site “KadoComi”.

In cooperation with Komatsu City, Kagawa, the site seeing app “Pokke” has created a pilgrimage tour. Alongside visiting the games most famous spots, you’ll be introduced to the Ogishima and Megijima Islands. The app and site seeing guides are free of use.

◆Summary
Our main character, Hairi Takahara, visits Hakuchoshima Island in his summer vacation to sort through his late grandmother’s belongings. When he steps foot off of one of the few ferries available the day, he meets a girl. While the sea breeze plays with her hair, she stares… off into the horizon, not quite towards the sea or the sky. The girl wanders off, leaving Hairi feeling bewitched but off to his grandmother’s house he goes. Upon arrival, he finds his aunt is already there, sorting through his grandmothers possessions. While helping to clean up his grandmother’s memories, Hairi gets used to “life on the island” slowly but surely. Getting in touch with nature he never got to know greasing up in the city. This new life reminded him of something, something nostalgic he had lost touch with. Hairi meets a strange girl searching for a butterfly. And a girl searching for her memories and pirates. And a girl who lives in a quiet lighthouse. He makes new friends on the island…. And wishes, if only this summer vacation wouldn’t come to an end.
